King Neptuneby ~kieranoats

Here's a concept kinda thing I came up with oneday while playing around in photoshop,
painted it from scratch, took about 4 hours I guess,
decided that his name would be King Neptune,
tell me what you think,
I'm trying to learn more about doing concept style work instead of just being a comic colorist, concept art really interests me and I'll probably try to do more as time goes on

you get 10 out of 10 for the colors. very slick-metallic-underWaterCreature like.

the concept is ok. you could have taken it to more extreme. maybe the tentacles can be more then just an ornament. they could do something or look more integral with the head. i think.
